Seeking the Spirit Within . . .
is the name of an Institute that is dedicated to the formation of Certified Spiritual Directors and helping people across the globe grow in their connection to God.
Started in 2007 in the state of Nebraska, we have certified 70+ spiritual directors in a two-year formation program. Those directors walk along people one-on-one in spiritual conversation. They teach classes. Lead retreats.
They also write these devotions so you can spend a few minutes each week sitting with the Divine.
Spiritual directors teach ways of praying in an 8-month program called “Drinking from the Well.” You can find out more that here.
We are a ministry of the Nebraska Synod in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
